Reminders don’t arrive

• Open Owlglance → Rhythm and check that reminders are on, with the start and end times and the days you want.
• Allow notifications for Owlglance in Android settings.
• Some phones limit background apps to save battery, and Android may deliver a reminder a little late. Try “Send a test reminder” on the Rhythm tab.

Add a child

In the grown-ups’ area, tap the profile button at the top → Add a child → nickname, age group, colour and a parent’s consent. Switch to the child’s profile from the same place. Coming back to the grown-ups’ area asks a grown-up maths question.

Change the language

Settings (the sliders icon at the top of Today) → Language: Same as the phone, English, Tiếng Việt or Français.

Export or delete data

Settings → Your data stays yours → Export my data (a JSON file you choose where to save) or Delete data on this phone (every profile and record, cannot be undone). Uninstalling also removes everything.

Owlglance Family

Buy, restore or manage it in Settings → Owlglance Family. Cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. If you bought it and the app has not noticed, tap “Restore purchase”.

Technical reports

If Owlglance hits an error, the next time a grown-up opens it they see a technical report (no names or health data). Tap Share to email it to us, or Delete.

Records can’t be opened

If the app says it could not unlock your records (for example after a phone reset), try again first. If it keeps failing, “Start over” deletes the unreadable old records and lets you continue.

When to see a doctor

Owlglance does not replace an eye exam. Seek care promptly for sudden blurry vision, flashes of light, a sudden increase in floaters, a curtain-like shadow over your vision, or a very red, painful eye.
